Can I sell you my collection?

All coins on the website are new and have been sufficiently purchased from the official institutions for many years.

So unfortunately I can't buy your collection.

I ordered a coin in presale, but I didn’t receive it yet.

For all coins in presale, the date on which the coin is expected is mentioned in the offer.

As soon as the coin is available, I will keep you informed.

Unfortunately I am not allowed to mint coins myself, so I have to wait for the issues of the National Banks or Royal Mints.

Has my order been shipped?

When we receive your order, your payment or we pack or ship your items, you'll always receive an e-mail to confirm this status change.

You can always check the status of your order through your account.

How do I clean coins?

The only way to clean coins is with a standard white pencil eraser. If you rub a new coin, you can remove the metal dust in this way. Use a soft cloth to remove the gum residue.

All other products attack the metal of the coin. You will always see impact in the short or long term (discoloration, gray and dark coins,...).

When coins arrive from the National Bank or Royal Mint of a particular country, they are never cleaned by me for the above reason.

Can I come and pick up my order?

For security reasons, my stock is in a secure location. So unfortunately, it is not possible to come and pick up your order.

Can coins be delivered at home?

Unfortunately, I can not deliver at home.

What if I received a damaged coin?

You have to know that not all coins are from a perfect quality. The quality depends from the minting. Especially with UNC coins, small scratches can be visible on the coin. These coins fall from the conveyor belt directly in a large bin, together with thousands of other coins.

The quality you receive, depends 100% of the quality that has been delivered from the National Bank or Royal Mint of the concerning country. I don't clean or treat coins with products.

If you think the damage does not match the quality you bought, don't hesitate to contact me. I will always ask you a picture or a scan of the coin. If I agree that the damage is too big for the bought quality, you can return the coin and I'll replace it.

However, because damaged coins are caused during the minting, and this is not within my power, I cannot refund you the cost for the return stamp.

What if a shipment is getting lost in the post?

It's very rare, but sometimes it happens that a shipment gets lost in the post. In all cases, I'll file a complaint with the corresponding postal services. Mostly, I ask you to do the same. Like that, the chances are bigger to retreive your shipment.

Did you choose for an insured shipment? In that case, I'll send you a new shipment as soon as you have filed a complaint. I'll handle the complaint, so you don't need to do anything.

For bigger orders, I always recommend an insured shipment.

What if I didn’t receive my order yet?

You will be informed through mail if your order is getting shipped. You can also follow the status of your order through your account.

If your order has coins in presale, these coins can only be shipped once available.

A delivery withing Belgium can take up to 5 working days. A delivery withing Europe can take up to 10 working days.

You still didn't receive your order within a reasonable timeframe? Don't hesitate to contact me and I'll check for you.

Has my order or payment been received well?

When we receive your order, your payment or we pack or ship your items, you'll always receive an e-mail to confirm this status change.

You can always see the status of your order through your account.

What payment methods are accepted?

You can pay trough Visa, MasterCard, Maestro, bank transfer, KBC-button, Belfius Direct Net, Apple Pay and Paypal.

How much are the shipping costs?

You can find all about the shipping costs at the bottom of each page in the 'Other' section.

How are the coins packed and shipped?

The UNC coins are taken from the rolls with gloves, and put in a small bag for shipment. All of this goes between a A4 paper and in a bubble envelope.

BU and BE coins and sets are mostly sent as a package, wrapped in A4 paper with newspaper or foam to fill the box.

What is the quality of the coins offered for sale?

You can find the quality of the coin in the title of each offer.

What is Circ, UNC, BU, FDC, Prooflike, BE and Proof?

Those abreviations stand for the quality of coins. They are commonly used in the coin world. However, for euro coins, they might be a slight deviation on the default names. The information below concerns euro coins.

Circ: Circulated. Those coins are circulated and can be found during daily activities, eg during shopping.

UNC: Uncirculated. Those coins have never circulated. The coins are minted, fall of the conveyor in a box and are put in rolls. UNC coins are taken directly from those rolls.

BU: Brilliant Uncirculated. These coins are also not circulated. The coins are minted, but don't fall of the conveyor. Mostly, they are taken from the conveyor and packed or put in a folder.

FDC: Fleur de Coin. Same quality as BU.

Prooflike: The coins are minted in a very specific way. They look like a mirror.

BE: Belle épreuve. See Proof.

Proof: Those coins are also minted in a specific way, but with even more quality. This is the best quality of coins.
